Who are we?
CILT Next Generation is one of the two wings of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).

The CILT Young Professionals Forum (YPF) was launched in 2004 in Hong Kong, renamed in 2018 as Next Generation to inspire and encourage youth and those in the early stage of their career into logistics and transport, and supply chain of the institute. Next Generation has over 2000 individual members spread across 27 CILT branches globally.

The Next Generation Forum focuses on those considering a career, starting their career or those who have recently transferred to logistics, supply chain and transportation industry.

We are an inclusive and inspiring network of professionals globally, bringing together thought leaders and future fellows to support, educate and motivate the next generation at every level from undergraduate/student to MD.

Our Objectives
To promote active participation of the Next Generation within the institute.

To foster the linkage with academic institutions and other relevant organizations for promoting talents/skills of the next generation through awards, mentoring etc.

To sustain strong links with local, regional and international Next Generation networks.

To create a path for institute succession planning.

To encourage professional development through mentoring and other networking functions.

To help support its own growth and contribute to CILT International’s growth enabling better support in the long run for NG.
